MINUTES

OF THE AUGUST 21, 2007 MEETING
OF THE WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA REGION
OF THE ANTIQUE AUTOMOBILE CLUB OF AMERICA

A Meeting of the Western Pennsylvania Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America was held on August 21, 2007. at the American Legion Post 982 (Pipetown) Hall. Latrobe PA, commencing at approximately 7:30 PM. The meeting was called to order by President, Harvey Eger, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. 

Minutes of the July 17, 2007 Meeting:

The Minutes of the July 17, 2007 Meeting were printed in the August Round-Up. The President asked if there were any additions or corrections to those Minutes. Hearing none, the President called for a Motion to approve the Minutes of the June, 2007 meeting. Upon Motion of Howard Finney, seconded by Ron Underwood the Minutes of the July 17, 2007 Meeting where approved.

Treasurers Report:

Barbara Erny presented the Treasurers Report.  A motion to accept the report as presented was made by Howard Finney and seconded by Charles Barron and unanimously carried. The Treasures Report was approved.

OLD BUSINESS

Tours:   

Charlie Schifano our Tour Chairman gave the following report. Nine couples traveled to Macungie, it was a terrific trip, weather was great and plans are already underway for next year. The Progressive Dinner Tour on August 12th was well attended and the host members, the Finneys, Smiths, Carusos and Kuhns families gave us a day to remember.  

Membership:

Howard Finney Chairman and Fred Nichols presented the names of William & Rosella Smith for their second reading. And acceptance for membership. The Smiths were unanimously accepted into membership of the WPR.

Chance Car:

Stan and Eleanor Kanick the Chance Car / Ticket Sale Chairpersons reported that there are still tickets to be sold. The car will be at the Westmoreland County Fair this week and we could still use some help in selling tickets at the fair.
