Car Show:

Carol Calabrace the Show Chairperson reports that things are going pretty well. Tom Ulishney is picking up the trophies. Al Wirick is organizing the setup of the field and the judging. We have the necessary sponsors. The club will be selling water this year and Connie Schfrano will handle this along with the coffee. Connie is organizing the bake sale, Debbie Sheetz will head up the Chinese Auction and Nancy McKelvey will be selling WPR “T” shirts.

Christmas Party:

Marianne Caruso and Connie Schifano our Chairpersons for this year’s Christmas Party have the arrangements in place. Mark a reminder on your calendar, scheduled for December 1st .

Westmoreland County Fair Grounds WPR Swap Meet:

Harvey Eger and Gene Hawk are co-chairing the Swap Meet which will be held at the Fairgrounds on September 28, 29 and 30. We are in need of additional vendors to insure success.

Fun Car Cruise and Picnic:

Vice President John Ross Kuhns chaired both of these events and both events were great. Kudos for John Ross. Ron Caruso did suggest finding lighter horseshoes or else the need to find him a better partner. He has placed Dick McKelvey on wavers.
