CARS I REMEMBER

Continued From Pg 9

That evening, Ann and I drove to Kittanning to Davis Buick Cadillac Garage. We met Mr. Davis and told him we were interested in a Cadillac Convertible that was traded in that day. He said it was in the service area but had not been checked out, but he knew the car, and it was ok. We took it for a short drive, came back and made the deal. It had less than 15,000 miles, we picked it up several days later. One of he best cars I have ever owned. Friends of ours bought the Pontiac Grand Prix, and they had lots of trouble with it. In fact they traded it off on a new Olds Holiday Coupe. I guess Paul Koch did me a favor.

REPORT ON THE 2010 FOUNDERS TOUR

Founders Tour Chair, Howard Finney, conducted a very informed meeting, Tuesday, April 22nd. There was a lot of good discussion and a lot of good information coming from Howard and those members who have had tour experience. Many have moved forward and started getting their ducks in a row and others definitely benefited from the experience of our veterans. Howard presented a lot of examples of items that have been used in past meets and the group did some work on planning a budget.

It is important to for everyone to note the changes to the Founders    meeting schedule on their calendars. First of all there will not be any meeting in May. Also our monthly meetings have been changed from the 4th Tuesday of the month to the 2nd Tuesday of the month. The Founders Tour Meetings will now be held the 2nd Tuesdays of the month. The next meeting will be June 10 at 7:00 PM at the Sheraton.
