  You watched the Hornets win the race
  While you rode on a Schwinn
 
  A Packard eight was offered once
  For just four hundred bucks
  A big V / 12 you also missed
  For the lack of cash and luck
 
  A forty seven Caddy limo
  He passed the pearly gate
  As swiftly and as smoothly
  As Packard’s big straight eight
 
  A fifty Olds that ran like ----
  (That’s a word we don’t use here)
    Tho the body was was loose as a half drunk goose
  It did ninety in second gear
 
  An Auburn with a two-speed rear
  A classic now, we are told
  The price was just three hundred cash
  But you didn’t have the gold
 
  A back lot full of Cadillac's
  With upward sweeping fin
  That you missed out on one of these
  Well, that was surely a sin
 
  So, now you have eternity
  To drive and to restore
  But if you try to jack one up
  Just be careful of the floor
