Event Chairs.

We made some progress in getting some event chairs but there is still a need to fill out vacancies. A very good suggestion was made that the Region should develop a job description for the various Event Chair positions so that a prospective Chair Candidate would know just what is expected if they were to volunteer for a Chairmanship. Of course we always say that the past Chairs stand ready to help.

Meeting Programs

President then reported that we are in need of someone to take charge of Programs for our meetings.  A call was made for a Chair as well as volunteers to present programs or suggest possible presenters. The comment was made that there are numerous programs standing ready in the wings. If programs were scheduled ahead and promoted to the membership before meeting nights it could improve attendance.

Kitty

This months 50-50 ($26.50) was won by: Dick McKelvey.

Badge fines were collected, bringing the Kitty to $ 1.50. Debra Classer’s name was drawn, she was not in attendance.

ON MOTION of Howard Finney, seconded by Jim Smith and unanimously carried, the Meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:45 PM.

Condolences and Get Well Cards

Cards of condolence were sent to Debbie Rusnock, John and Beverly Rusnock on the event of the death of their husband and brother. Bill was a hard working and very personable member of our club and he will be missed so much by everyone.

Cards were also sent along to Irene Milligan, Lois Orazio, Alice Clark and Lois Malinish, letting them know that we were thinking of them and that they were in our prayers.

We received a thank you card from the Davis family for our club’s remembrance of Bob who had served as our Region’s president and who had a life long love of antique automobiles.

Irene Milligan also wrote a card thanking our members for their best wishes, cards, calls and prayers and reported that she is feeling better each day.
