MINUTES

OF THE JANUARY 29, 2006 ANNUAL MEETING
OF THE WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA REGION
OF THE ANTIQUE AUTOMOBILE CLUB OF AMERICA

The January Annual Meeting of the Western Pennsylvania Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America was called to order at 4:05 PM on Sunday, January 29, 2006 by President Mark DeFloria. The meeting was held at Dino’s Lounge, Route 30 West, Latrobe, PA.  Following the Pledge of Allegiance, Mark welcomed all Members and recognized all past Presidents, from 1957 to date.

Secretary, Harvey Eger passed out copies of the Minutes of the 2005 Annual Meeting, which had been approved at the February, 2005 meeting. 

A motion was made by Jim Heatherington, to accept the Minutes of the November 2005 Meeting as printed in the Roundup The motion was seconded by Jim Smith and unanimously carried.

Tom Milligan read the final Treasurer’s report for 2006  On motion of Tim Smith, seconded by Howard Finney, and unanimously carried, the Treasurer’s Report was approved.

OLD BUSINESS

1. Membership: Tom Milligan reported that he had received two applications for membership, which he read for the first time.  Those applications were submitted by Rick Totanto, who is sponsored by Connie and Charlie Schifano, and George Foster, who is sponsored by Barb Erny and Jim Erny III. 

    A moment of silence was held for Tom Bradish, Sr., who passed away during the past year.

2. Kick Off Party:   John Kuhns reported that kick-off the party was held  on April 30, 2005, at the Pipetown American Legion.  102 Members attended.  The cost of attending was $5.00.  Post Avenue Catering again provided the food, and entertainment was provided by an Elvis impersonator.  Over $1000 worth of door prizes were awarded.   This year’s kick –off party will be held on April 29, 2006, at the Pipetown American Legion.

3.  Picnic: The committee for the picnic was Tom Milligan, Debbie Sheetz and Mark DeFloria. 102 Members attended the picnic on Sunday, July 31, 2005  at the Slovak Picnic Grounds in Latrobe. The charge was $1.00 per person.  Members were asked to bring either a salad or a dessert.  Post Avenue Catering provided a pig roast, turkey and
