JACK
CLARK AWARD: Member(s) who did the most
for the Region in the past year: 2006 Board of Directors, Nominated by
Charlie Schifano. The nominations were re-opened and the fo1lowing were
added to the ballot: Tom and Dodie Ulishney, Charles Schifano & The
Calabrace family.
By vote of the membership the Jack Clark Award was awarded to
the Calabrace Family.
FOSTER
FIKE AWARD: Member who has newly restored a vehicle and brought it to a
Region Event. John Rusnock 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible, Nominated by Bill
Rusnock & Charlie Schifano; Gary Cooper, 1960 Ford Thunderbird, Nominated by
Luella Bell. The nominations were re-opened and there were no other
nominations. By vote of the membership the Foster Fike award was presented
to Gary Cooper for his 1960 Thunderbird.
PAUL BELL
AWARD: Member who displayed the most unique vehicle at a Region
Event. No Nominations. The nominations were re-opened and there were no
nominations and the Paul Bell Award was not awarded for 2006.
2006 CHANCE CAR AWARDS: Top Seller, Tom Ulishney, 824 tickets 2nd Place, Charlie Schifano, 600 tickets 3rd Place, Alan T, Terek, 580 tickets
Winning ticket was sold at Meyersdale by Charlie & Connie
Schifano along with Harvey & Susan Eger.
PROGRAM: This year’s program was presented by Dave Berg, Dave Berg
serves as an AACA National Director 2006-2008 and is the Executive Vice
President. Dave gave us his brief history into how he got interested in the
AACA and boy was it interesting, it all sounds so familiar. Dave goes onto
end his program with these words~
“Don’t ever give up on your
Region, step up and do the right thing”
On Motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the
Meeting was adjourned and dinner was served.
