Car
Show 2006: Carol Calabrace was not in attendance but submitted
her report to Barb Erny to present. Carol goes on to report: Despite the
cool dreary day, we had 184 cars on the show field of which 83 were
pre-registered. Thirty-one businesses or individuals from the community
sponsored our trophies. In the flea market area there were 17 vendors or
cars in the car corral. This year we were lucky to have judging all done by
members of the club. Due to the generous donations by our members the
Chinese Auction, handled by Debbie Sheetz, and the bake sale handled by
Connie, Debbie and Bev, was a tremendous success. The numerous trips around
the show field by Dodie, Susan and Robin netted us a generous 50 / 50. Also
Nancy sold T-Shirts with cars of yesteryear on them. I would like to thank
the Club for the beautiful plaque I received in memory of Dan. He enjoyed
going to Car Shows and ours meant a lot to him. He had served the Show for
many years as chairman, which he greatly enjoyed. So on behalf of Dan, I
would like to thank the Car Show Committee and all the members who helped in
one way or another to make our 43rd Car Show a success. This year’s Car Show
will be September 2, 2007.

Harvey goes on to ask for any other nominations. With no other nominations
for the Board of Directors, a motion was made by Howard Finney to
close the nominations and accept them with a unanimous vote. That motion
