MINUTES
OF THE SEPTEMBER 16, 2008 MEETING
OF THE WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA REGION
OF THE ANTIQUE AUTOMOBILE CLUB OF AMERICA

 A Meeting of the Western Pennsylvania Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America was held on September 16, 2008 at the American Legion Post 982 (Pipetown) Hall. Latrobe PA, commencing at approximately 7:35 PM. The meeting was called to order by President, Harvey Eger, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Minutes of the August 16, 2008 Meeting:

The Minutes of the August 18, 2008 Meeting were printed in the September Round-Up. The President asked if there were any additions or corrections to those minutes. Hearing none the President called for a Motion to approve those Minutes. Upon Motion of Howard Finney seconded by Ron Underwood and unanimously carried, the Minutes of the August 19,2008 Meeting where approved.

Treasurers Report:

Harvey Eger then presented the Treasurers Report.  A motion to accept the report as presented was made by Dick McKelvey and seconded by Ralph Shearer. The motion unanimously carried and the Treasures Report was approved.

OLD BUSINESS:

Tours:  

Marianne Caruso, our Tour Chairperson for 2008. The President called on Marianne to update us on any additional tours for the year. She reported that the tour season was slowing down at this point but that we had formed a “for fun” bowling league that would be bowling every other Sunday evening during the winter season. There was also discussion on arranging the Christmas Season lunch tour to the Cochran House.

National Tour:

Howard Finney reported that the 2010 Founders Individual trips are coming together. Design of the Tour Dash plaque has been completed by Clay Stoner.  The next scheduled meeting of the committee will be on Tuesday, October 14, 2008.
