FROM THE EDITOR
By Dick McKelvey

The Dawson Cruise and Show on June 3rd came off without any problems. The show is rather informal but it brought in some neat cars. The home cooked lunch was as great as ever as were the tour of the beautiful Cochran House and the comradeship of our members who were able to attend. On the way home some of us made a stop over at the Car Show hosted by the Youth Group at Trinity Lutheran Church in Latrobe. We were too late to take part in the show but our cars did create some interest and we were able to buy food and show memorabilia at reduced prices.

In this issue of the Round-Up you will find printed pages containing copies of the fliers for our Chance Car Ticket Sale and our 1st Annual Automobile Flee Market which is scheduled for the Westmoreland Fairgrounds on September 28 to 30. Also folded up in the paper you will find a copy of the sign up sheet Carol Calabrace has released for our 44th Annual Paul Bell Car Show scheduled for the Legion Keener Park on September 3rd.

 Under The Weather

During the month I received an email from Warren Sheppick, one of our contributing story writers, that he will not be able to write any more stories about his travels for the foreseeable future. He has undergone blood transfusions in the Cancer Division of the Mon Valley Hospital and is getting bone marrow shots. He is going to try to get to as many WPR meetings as possible. We sure are going to miss his stories and send along our prayers and best wishes that he will be able to be active again as soon as possible. Warren I do have a shirt for you from the Dawson Show. Their intentions were good but I’m afraid the shirt will be too small.
