spaghetti.  Gift certificates totaling $500 were awarded.  This          year’s picnic will be held on July 30, 2006. 

4.    2005 Chance Car: There were several people who participated in this year’s Chance Car program.  Tom and Dodie Ulishney  were in charge of scheduling the Chance Car this year. Harvey Eger handled scheduling for Twin Lakes Heritage Festival.   Barb Erny handled the ticket sales, and Ken Bankovitch stuffed stuffed the envelopes.   Barb provided a report and thanked everyone who helped with the car.  There were 750 unsold tickets, which amounted to $3,750 in lost revenue.  Tom and Dodie Ulishney sold the most tickets, and John and Nancy Wolf sold the winning ticket to Bob Ersler from Plum.  It took 3 drawings until we had a winner.  

5.   Tours:   Charlie Schifano reported on the tours that were held over the past year.  On June 5th, Gary Cooper and Warren Sheppick lead a tour to Dawson, PA where we enjoyed great food, a tour of the beautiful Frick Family mansion and an opportunity to see many antiques and classics. 

       On Sunday, June 12, a tour was held in conjunction with Laurel Highlands Region to visit Ageless Autos in New Stanton, a pedal car collection in Greensburg, and dinner at Hoss’ Restaurant.  The tour was coordinated by Charlie and Rich Flickenger of Laurel Hightlands Region. 

      July 8, 9, and 10  Warren Sheppick led a tour to Dublin, Ohio for the Arthritis Foundation Show.  Over 3500 antique and classic cars were displayed in a beautiful industrial park that contained full accommodations for everyone. 

       Al Friend of the Pittsburgh Corvair Club and Ralph Shearer from our Region led a tour on August 20 to Gravity Hill.  39 cars and 89 people participated.  Drivers were able to drift their cars uphill, and then it was on to the Glenn Sauger Ranch, which is soon to be purchased by the Pittsburgh Zoo, for a wonderful dinner.  On the way back, there was a visit to the Compass Inn in Laughlintown.

      On Sunday, September 18, Dan Calabrace led a group to the Marion Center Car Show hosted by Fred Nichols and the Punxy Region of AACA.  It was a great show, followed by a wonderful dinner. 

    Fred Nichols led the “Frostbite Tour” through beautiful back roads of northern Indiana, Smicksburg and the Wingate Winery on October 22.  Dinner followed at Fire Mountain.  There were 11 cars and 21 people participating,
