PINCH HITTING              
FOR THE PRESIDENT
 

I can’t drive his Model A and I really can’t pinch hit for him. I did however want to pass along the word, to those who were not on the Progressive Diner Tour, that our president has just had a little heart surgery involving the insertion of two stents. He had some chest pains on the trip to Macungie, got checked out and had the surgery done very quickly. He was still with us on the Progressive Dinner Tour only a few days after his surgery.

We can definitely lower the stress level for him by pulling off the upcoming Car Show (September 2^nd) and the Automotive Swap Meet / Flee Market September 28, thru 30. Specifically we need (1) People to sell tickets on the chance car at the Westmoreland County Fair, August 17th to the 24th and (2) Volunteer for service at the club’s September 28th to the 30^th Swap Meet / Flea Market.

Harvey also said the program for the August 21st meeting is going to be session on judging cars to get us ready for the September 2^nd Car Show.
