PROGRAM:
This year’s program was presented by WPR member Dave Berg who is also finishing his term as our AACA National President. Dave spoke about the things that have been done by our National organization to be of more service to our local Regions and local Region members. One of The many things started this year at the National Office include the recently established four National Memberships that the AACA has given to each Region. The Region may use these memberships at their own discretion, presenting them to new first time AACA recruit coming into a Region. Dave also told us about the reorganization of the Museum and Library so that their services are brought closer to our Region Membership.

On Motion duly made by Howard Finney, seconded by Bill Maurer and unanimously carried, the Meeting was adjourned and dinner was served.

NEWS AROUND THE WPR

Please keep the family of member Hebert H. Miller in your prayers. Herbert passed away on January 4th at the Mountain View Specialty Care Center.

On a happier note, Mark DeFloria has been selected by the AACA as “A 2008 Master Webmaster” for his work on our WPR Web Site which was also awarded the “2008 Award of Excellence”. Congratulations Mark.

Mark reported that we have had 1285 visitors to our web page during 2008. He has requested that every member with an email address go to the web page westernparegion@hotmail.com and email the region. This would give him our email addresses for added communication in the region.

Bill Savage has reported that he has reserved a pavilion at Idlewild Park for use of everyone participating in their Idlewild Old Fashion Days program for Antique and Classic cars this coming summer. The pavilion would be available for the entire week.
