Merchandise: Nancy McKelvey has agreed to take over the role of Region Merchandise Chairman. Nancy is in the process of gathering information about merchandise, and possible vendors in order to find a supplier who will be more responsive to our orders. Membership: The Board has decided that a prospective member must be present at the readings of his applications. If the prospective member is not present the readings will be postponed until he or she can be present. The most recent membership recruits attending the meeting were presented with their name plates. Newsletter: Dick McKelvey again mentioned that the Round-Up really appreciates any articles or ideas that members would like to share. The Round-Up was again recognized by the AACA with an “Award of Distinction”. Website Mark DeFloria continues as our Web Master and he does a terrific job. NEW BUSINESS: AACA Donation: The WPR membership previously voted unanimously to donate $500 to the AACA Museum this month $250 designated to the Library Endowment Fund. Program: Harvey Eger presented a very informative program concerning motor oils and their application on our Classic and Antique Automobiles. In other discussions it was revealed that the AACA Judging Rules starting in 2008 will require anyone entering a car in a meet to possess and display a 1A5BC Fire Extinguisher. Kitty: This month the 50 / 50 was $55.00. and $27.50 was won by John Kuhns. On motion of Jim Smith, seconded by Jack Wolfe and a unanimous vote the meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:40 PM
