OLD BUSINESS:
Membership 2006:
Membership Chairman Bill Rusnock was unable to
attend the Annual Meeting and submitted his report to the President, Harvey
J Eger. President Eger notes that that the Region had 6 new members
in 2006. Harvey goes onto report that Bill has indicated that he will not be
able to continue as Membership Chairperson and asked if there was anyone who
would be interested in Chairing the Membership Committee.
Kick Off Party 2006:
Allen and Sally Wirick chaired the Kick off Party and
reported that 105 members were in attendance and that everything was just
perfect, no complaints or problems. Sally arid Al declined to chair the 2007
Kick Off Party.
Picnic 2006:
John & Nancy Wolfe were our Chairpersons for the 2006
Picnic, which was held at Cooperstown Club Picnic Grounds. When John and
Nancy had to drop out due to an illness, Barb Erny stepped up at the last
minute to take over. All went as planned. There were 60 members in
attendance and the food was great This was the first year we had secured the
Cooperstown Grounds, and will be looking at returning to Cooperstown in 2007.
Chance Car 2006:
Stan and Eleanor Kanick reported that Earl Lockwood of
Murrysville, PA had won the 2006 Chance Car Eleanor went on to note that the
ticket was sold by Harvey Eger at Meyersdale Car Show. Eleanor also noted
that 49 members sold tickets this year and that all the tickets had been
sold and that we could have sold more if we had them. Of those 49 members 15
of them sold over 100 tickets each. The Kanick’s went on to thank Tom
Ulishney for handling the car and the scheduling.
Tours 2006:
Charlie Stefano is our tour
Chairman for the 2006 Year. Charlie noted that there were 10 tours and
every one of theme was great. Charlie went on to note the tours that were
held.
